–!! Voted New Mexico 's BEST Jam Band by KRUX 91.5 People's Choice!! NRB is an eclectic mix of people from all over the country that just so happen to share equal views of music and music writing and also live in Las Cruces , NM . The band believes that jamming is part of music and a great way to make the art be exciting at every live performance. Kris Waynant and Chad Norred have been writing music together on and off for about 6 years and currently provide the majority of the songs played. However, Andy Collier, who just recently (April 2005) joined the band has already been a large part of the new material coming out of NRB and figures to be a great influence in the band's next recording scheduled for October and November. The process of writing songs can occur at all times with all members and everyone has contributed greatly and added their critique and comments to every song. We wouldn't play a song unless everyone was sure that it was at its best potential. As fore mentioned the band is from all over the country. Waynant is from Laurel, MD a suburb of D.C.; Norred is from Louisa, VA, a tiny farm community outside Charlottesville ; Collier, who has lived all over the country, settled in Evergreen, CO; and Matt Swanson is from Fargo , ND . All have played in other bands in the past and currently Norred and Collier are also involved in a Bluegrass Quintet called "The Baylor Canyon Boys." NRB is dedicated to their music, their live shows and their fanbase which they hope to encourage more.

Durty Waturz is a Reggae band from El Paso , TX . Durty Waturz started out 4yrs. back by Ray "Ras Yogi/Ras Scandal" Muniz and Brady McMicken as a way to experiment with a kind of music they had never touched befor, it turned out to be Reggae. Over the passed couple years they have become a six-piece band that has created its own chemistry from being extremely influenced by the sounds of old and new school Dancehall, Roots, Ska, Ragga, Dub and Blues, infusing it with revolutionary ideas, spirituality and Rastafarian Philosophy.
Durty Waturz always strives to share their message of human kindness amongst one another as life is a constant learning experience and music being a great vehicle, what better way to do it than through Reggae music itself. The band looks forward to sharing thier ideas with those they perform for and hope to bring peace, love and happiness to all through their art and music.
